The Healing Soirée is an event series operated by Mind Your Higher Ground LLC, doing business as Healing Soirée (“MYHG,” “Healing Soirée,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Healing Soirée website, event registrations, ticket purchases, sponsorships, content, and related services (collectively, the “Site” or “Services”).
1) Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Healing Soirée Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase tickets, sponsorships, or offerings.
2) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates are effective once posted on the Site.
Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
3) Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site or purchase tickets, sponsorships, or offerings.
By using the Site, you represent that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.
4) Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site for lawful purposes only. You may not:
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
Introduce malware or harmful code
Scrape, crawl, data mine, or automate access without written permission
Interfere with Site operations or security
Harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm others
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.
5) Tickets, Sponsorships, and Payments
Ticketed Events
Ticket availability, pricing, and access are listed on the Site or authorized ticketing platforms.
Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Attendance may be subject to additional venue rules and event policies.
Sponsorships
Sponsorships are governed by these Terms and any additional sponsorship agreement or confirmation provided at purchase.
Sponsorship benefits are non-transferable unless approved in writing.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors.
Their terms and privacy policies apply to payment processing.
6) Refunds and Event Changes
Refunds are governed by the Healing Soirée Refund Policy, incorporated by reference.
If the event must be postponed, relocated, or modified, we will provide notice and outline available options consistent with the Refund Policy.
7) Educational & Wellness Disclaimer (Not Therapy)
The Healing Soirée provides education, reflection, coaching-informed facilitation, and wellness-oriented experiences.
We do not provide:
Medical care
Mental health treatment
Therapy
Diagnosis
Legal or financial advice
Nothing on the Site or at the event constitutes professional advice.
If you need medical, mental health, legal, or financial support, consult a qualified professional.
If you are in crisis or may be a danger to yourself or others, seek immediate professional or emergency assistance.
8) Event Conduct, Community Standards, and Confidentiality
The Healing Soirée is a protected, facilitated environment.
By attending, you agree to:
Treat all participants with respect
Maintain confidentiality of personal stories shared
Refrain from harassment, hate speech, threats, or disruptive behavior
Avoid solicitation, selling, or recruiting unless explicitly authorized
We reserve the right to remove attendees who violate these standards, without refund except where required by law.
9) Screening and Admission (If Applicable)
Certain offerings, tickets, or access points may require screening or approval.
We reserve the right to accept, waitlist, decline, or revoke access to protect safety, integrity, and fit. Decisions are final.
10) Intellectual Property
All Site and event materials—including text, branding, program names, session content, frameworks, worksheets, slides, recordings, and downloads—are owned or licensed by Mind Your Higher Ground LLC.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial license for personal use only.
You may not:
Copy, reproduce, or distribute materials publicly
Record sessions without permission
Republish content online or in programs
Create derivative works
Use materials for commercial purposes
11) Trademarks
“Healing Soirée,” “Mind Your Higher Ground,” and associated names, logos, and program titles are trademarks of Mind Your Higher Ground LLC. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
12) Third-Party Links and Platforms
The Site may link to third-party platforms (e.g., ticketing, payment processors).
We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.
13) No Warranties
The Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that content will always be complete or current.
14) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mind Your Higher Ground LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or attendance at the Healing Soirée.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 if no payment was made, unless otherwise required by law.
15) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mind Your Higher Ground LLC from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Site, or violation of laws or third-party rights.
16) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Site or event if you violate these Terms or pose risk to others.
Sections related to intellectual property, liability, and indemnification survive termination.
17) Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
Any disputes shall be brought in state or federal courts located in Indiana.
18) Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
19) Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with referenced policies (Refund Policy and Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement regarding the Healing Soirée Site and Services.
